Business Office Manager Perform business office functions under the direction of the administrator in accordance with sound accounting practices.
Explain financial obligations to residents and their family.
Obtain copies of insurance cards and process credit card transactions.
Complete ICP Medicaid applications for residents seeking financial assistance.
Manage Medicaid pending application & conversion process to ensure timely resolution.
Responsible for all aspects of the resident trust accounting system.
Ensures procedures are followed to achieve an accurate and timely closing at month end.
Willingness to help others.
Qualifications:
Business Office Manager Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and private payors.
1-3 years of A/R, billing and collection experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care facility preferred.
